These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RankmyTask mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The Service

RankmyTask is a productivity application that helps you organize, prioritize, and complete tasks, including AI-assisted planning and recommendations. The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You may use the App as a guest with limited functionality. Guest data is stored locally on your device and may be lost if the App is uninstalled.

3. RankmyTask Pro Subscriptions

3.1 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
• Prices are shown in your local currency within the App before purchase and are set by the applicable app store. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change; any change will be communicated in advance and will apply only to future billing periods.

3.2 Free Trials and Introductory Offers

Where offered, a free trial or introductory price applies only to eligible new subscribers and for the period stated at the point of purchase. If you do not cancel before the trial or introductory period ends, the subscription converts automatically to the standard recurring price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3.3 Managing and Cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings:

• iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
• Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until that date. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

3.4 Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by RankmyTask. Refund requests are handled under the policies of the applicable app store, and we cannot issue refunds directly. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and there are no refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the App or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent any security or entitlement checks.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the tasks, goals, and other content you create in the App. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you. We do not sell your content. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-Generated Features

The App includes AI-assisted features that generate suggestions, plans, and insights. These outputs are provided for guidance only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated suggestion before acting on it.

7. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may add, change, or remove features, including features included in Pro. If we make a material adverse change to paid features, you may cancel your subscription as described above.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankmyTask shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and may request deletion of your account from within the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
